SM-22/26

The Neopost Franking Machine known as the SM22/26 model which you use for processing your letters has now been in the market place for more than 10 years. The age of the machine and the decline in availability of spare parts prevent us from meeting our future contractual obligations and therefore Neopost Ltd has taken the decision to stop the technical support of this model from midnight on the 30th September 2015.

Why has Neopost taken the decision to stop supporting SM22/26 machines?

These models have not been manufactured for many years and therefore the lack of availability of spare parts means that Neopost is unable to fulfil future contractual obligations. Since these machines were first produced technology has progressed from ageing analogue connections to digital and Internet connection types. You can take full advantage of these new types of connection by upgrading your machine.

I still require a franking machine, what are my options?

A member of our sales team will be in contact with you to discuss your requirements. If you would like to speak to someone in the meantime about a new machine, please call us on 0800 731 1334.

What will happen to the money left in my Credifon account?

You can request a refund of any funds left in your Credifon account by emailing credifon@neopost.co.uk, quoting the bank details that you would like this paid back into, the amount and your Credifon account number. Any funds remaining on the machine will be returned to you by the Royal Mail once the machine has been collected.

Can I still top up my machine with credit after 30th September 2015?

Your machine will not continue to connect to our server after this date to recredit, however you will be able to use up any remaining credit on the machine if you wish to.

What will happen if my machine breaks down after the 30th September 2015?

If you have a breakdown, our telephone support team will not be able to offer advice and we will not be able to send an engineer.

I have an existing service agreement for my machine which extends beyond the 30th September 2015, what will happen to this?

We will apply a pro-rata refund for any unused contract period. If you have any queries regarding this please email service.contracts@neopost.co.uk supplying your account number or serial number.

Will I still be able to order supplies for my machine after the 30th September 2015?

We will not be able to continue to supply consumable products for this machine due to lack of availability.

What happens if I don’t need my machine anymore, will Neopost collect the machine?

If you no longer use your machine and would like us to collect and dispose of it we can arrange this. Please email into withdrawalteam@neopost.co.uk supplying the serial number of the machine, we will then be in contact to book the machine collection.
