Neopost ranked first in the 2016 Gaïa-Index
Following on from being named in the top ten French software providers in Syntec Numérique’s ‘Top 250 Panorama’ report, our great work continues to be recognised as we’ve now also been awarded first place in the 2016 Gaïa-Index. The report ranks French mid-cap organisations for their level of sustainable development, so it’s great to have come out on top.
Awarded a score of 94/100, we were ranked first in both the general classification and ‘companies with sales of more than €500 million’ categories.
Go-to resource for top investment organisations
Since its formation in 2009, the index has become the go-to resource for top ranking investment organisations looking to adopt extra-financial criteria when analysing potential investments. Companies are judged on a number of environment, social and governance (ESG) factors, and only 70 of the 230 screened companies are included in the final index.
Neopost making huge strides forward
We were included in the Gaïa-Index for the first time last year, ranked in ninth place. Our new position reflects the great strides we have made in the past 12 months. For example, all of our industrial sites and several distribution subsidiaries are now ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified; we’ve adopted an eco-design and remanufacturing policy on all products; we continue to show commitment to our workforce through our employee engagement survey and associated action plans; and we have increased efforts towards diversity and equal opportunities in the workplace.
