Neopost Limited Secures Major National Framework Agreement
Neopost Limited, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of mailing solutions, announced today, that after a competitive tendering process via OJEU procurement procedures it has been selected as an approved supplier for the Crown Commercial Service’s Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement.
The Crown Commercial Service brings together policy, advice and direct procurement; providing commercial services to central government and the whole of the wider public sector, whilst delivering savings to tax payers.
The Framework Agreement, worth upwards of £100m per annum, has been awarded for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further 12 months. This new agreement (reference RM1063) offers customers significant savings in cost and efficiencies and offers a fully compliant procurement route. The benefits that can be derived from the agreement are fully aligned with the need to increase procurement efficiencies whilst protecting the public purse. As well as supporting the effective procurement of traditional goods and services, the scope of the Framework Agreement also covers the changing needs of customers in an increasingly digital economy.
The Framework Agreement itself is split into a number of different Lots, encompassing postal carrier services; postal equipment and digital services. These Lots encompass both inbound and outbound communications. Neopost has been successful in winning awards for Lots 2, 3 ,5 & 7.
In winning such a number of awards under the Framework Agreement, Neopost sees a great endorsement of the Company’s wider capabilities by Crown Commercial Service.
