Royal Mail has recently published their 2016 pricing for franking which becomes effective on Tuesday 29th March 2016.

Under the new Royal Mail tariff, Mailmark franking machine users will enjoy discounts on the price of a Stamp of as much as 32% for a 2nd Class letter and over 20% for a 1st Class letter.  Sending parcels with a Mailmark franking machine also gives great value with prices from £3.07 for a 1st Class parcel or from £2.57 for a 2nd Class parcel.

Why Change to Mailmark Franking?

Royal Mail promise that Mailmark franking will always be the best value option for franking machine users.  Royal Mail’s 2016 tariff builds on this by extending its price advantage to as much as 3p for a 2nd Class letter (37p compared to 40p with a traditional franking machine) and 2p for 1st Class (51p compared to 53p).

Many existing users of franking could benefit from upgrading to Mailmark franking, due to this increase in the price differential between franking machines that use the old 'town and crown' die and new generation Mailmark devices that apply an intelligent 2D barcode.

Mailmark franking machines offer additional benefits including automatic tariff updates and easy access to additional Royal Mail products including a new Pre-pay Business Reply offering.
