12th November - Royal Mail today announced the last recommended posting dates for customers sending Christmas cards and gifts by airmail.

Wednesday 5 December is the latest recommended date for addresses in Asia, the Far East (including Japan), Australia and New Zealand.
Customers sending cards and gifts to destinations in South & Central America, the Caribbean, Africa and the Middle East are advised to send these items by Friday 7 December.
The latest recommended date for Eastern Europe, the USA and Canada is Monday 10 December. For destinations in Western Europe the latest date for airmail cards and gifts is Wednesday 12 December.

Royal Mail is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Notts County – the oldest professional league club in the world – with a special commemorative sheet of stamps.
Issued on 8th November, the sheet features ten images taken from the club’s rich history, from fans favourite players to memorable moments, alongside ten 1st Class firework stamps.
The sheet celebrates the milestones of Notts County, a club that last played top-flight football in 1991-92 and includes notable past players such as Jackie Sewell, Tommy Lawton and Don Masson, as well as a wealth of images and fascinating stories about the club since its formation in 1862.
The sheet also explores the club’s historic and unique relationship with the current Serie A champions, Juventus. The Italian giants derived its famous black-and-white striped kit from Notts County, and have played in their now famous black and white striped shirts since 1903.
Each commemorative sheet is individually numbered and part of a limited edition and a must have for football aficionados and those interested in the history of the game.
