Neopost put their stamp on the Havering Business Awards

Neopost, a long standing Havering business is the sponsor of the new category Best Business in the Community for the Havering Business Awards 2012, organised by Havering Council.

A global leader in document, mail and parcel processing solutions, Neopost products and services are sold in 90 countries worldwide, and in 2011, annual sales globally were just over €1 billion. In the UK, Neopost employs 700 people, with 400 staff based in Romford.

With the recent increases on postage by Royal Mail, Neopost’s equipment and software solutions increase the effectiveness of customers’ communications, both physical and digital, and deliver cost savings through productivity and process improvements, their “Seven ways to beat Royal Mail postage costs increases” is a must read.

Since 1924 Neopost Limited has occupied the site at Roneo Corner, which is named after Roneo Alcatel, an earlier name for the company.

Cllr Robert Benham, Havering Council’s cabinet member for Community Empowerment, says, “We are delighted to have Neopost as one of this year’s sponsors and are very much looking forward to seeing the fantastic works that so many of the boroughs businesses are undertaking which goes unrecognised.”

Best Business in the Community will acknowledge and celebrate the “unpaid” work that our businesses undertake for the local community.
