• Pay in arrears with neofunds - with a neoFunds account there's no risk of running out of postage again. It's a simple, flexible arrangement that allows you to top up your franking machine as often as you need. There's no pre-paying or making special trips to the post office, just use your neoFunds account to refill your meter. We simply send you a monthly bill for postage you have used. You can choose to pay in full or in part. For ultimate convenience, neoFunds charges are incorporated in selected neoCare maintenance packages.
  
• Pay in advance - we assess your postal spend and agree with you a minimum amount to be kept in your account. A direct debit arrangement ensures your account is regularly refilled to the minimum value. You can opt to make additional credits to your account to anticipate periods of high postage.

Re-crediting charges are billed annually in arrears, with charges based on the number of re-credits during the year. In addition, charges are made to reflect the connection cost via phone or LAN:

Licensing

All franking machines feature secure postage meters, which act as "vaults" holding the funds which have been downloaded into the machine, and are then used when printing postage. Each franking machine installation must be licensed by the Royal Mail, as each franking meter holds postage funds. The application for the license will be taken care of by Neopost as a normal part of the installation process.
